Evidentia Group – newly formed, multi-branded market leader in the managed account sector, today announced the appointment of its inaugural executive leadership team. This strategic milestone marks the formal launch of the organisation in its new state and sets the foundation for its next phase of ambitious growth across key markets.
Evidentia Group was formed by the merger of Evidentia with Lonsec Investment Solutions and Implemented Portfolios, off the back of Generation Development Group’s acquisition of the Lonsec Group in August 2024 and Evidentia in February 2025, along with its subsequent announcement regarding the strategic realignment of the businesses under its umbrella. In conjunction with this announcement, Mike Wright, previously Group CEO of Lonsec, was appointed CEO of this newly formed entity in February 2025.
The appointment of the new Executive Committee completes the Leadership team, bringing together a diverse group of industry veterans, with a proven track record in banking, wealth and investment management. Their collective experience positions Evidentia Group to innovate, scale, and deliver exceptional value to Advisers and their clients in the increasingly evolving wealth management space.
Key appointments to commence 1 July 2025 (organised by function) include:
Investments
- Troy Swann to Executive Director, Investment Management – The former Chief Investment Officer of Evidentia, Troy will lead Evidentia Group’s investment business with a particular focus on Governance and integrating and developing the investment capabilities. Troy is also the Chair of both the Evidentia and Private Markets Investment Committees.
- Darren Beesley to Chief Investment Officer – Having previously held the position of Head of Portfolio Management – Multi Asset at Evidentia, Darren is a member of the Investment Committee and will lead the core investment process, including the formation and execution of the firm’s investment strategy.
- Nathan Lim to Chief Investment Strategist – Formerly Chief Investment Officer at Lonsec Investment Solutions, Nathan is a member of the Investment Committee and will oversee the portfolio management of the Lonsec Investment Solution’s Public SMAs.
Client Solutions
- Marc Hraiki to General Manager, Adviser Solutions – Serving previously as Lonsec’s Executive Director of Sales and Service, Marc will drive business growth and engagement, delivering high-impact solutions for Advisers and their clients through a comprehensive and evolving suite of offerings, including Public and Private SMAs, MDAs, Private Market investments, and Direct Equity opportunities.
- Hugh Holden to Head of Private Wealth Solutions – Previously Principal – Asset Consulting at Evidentia, Hugh will be responsible for driving Evidentia’s Private SMA solutions and leading the Business Consulting team.
- Chris Carrodus to General Manager, Consulting – Chris, who previously held the position of Head of Asset Consulting at Evidentia, will lead the firm’s private asset consulting services and drive its rapidly growing tailored solutions offering.
- Naomi Christopher to General Manager, Marketing and Communications – Previously Head of Marketing and PR for the Lonsec Group, Naomi brings to the role over 15 years of financial services marketing experience, to lead the firm’s multi-branded marketing strategy and communications delivery.
Operations
- Chris Smith to General Manager, Implemented Portfolios – Transitioning from Head of Investment Services at Implemented Portfolios, Chris brings a wealth of Investment and Management expertise to this newly created role, leading the compliant delivery of the firm’s MDA offering – Implemented Portfolios.
- Will Gramolt to Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director – Will, who most recently served as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at Evidentia, brings deep financial and operational expertise to the role. Will will oversee the group’s financial strategy, performance, and governance.
- The Group is actively seeking to appoint a Chief Risk and Operations Manager in the coming weeks.
